We have a great number of people who take up volunteer positions across Leigh Academies Trust; some are able to offer their time on a short-term basis, others do so for longer around other commitments that they have. If you are able to offer your time during school hours and enjoy working with primary and/or secondary-aged students, we’d love to hear from you. Or perhaps you are interested in completing an unpaid placement at the Trust in order to get a qualification.
We highly value the contribution that our volunteers and work placement candidates can make to our children’s’ learning and cultural experiences throughout the academic year. You can support in a variety of ways; whether it be with reading and writing at primary level, with more specific subject knowledge at secondary level, or within a central office department.
